We are a group of enthusiasts who meet two Thursdays a month at 7.45 (8pm start)from Sept until May.

The club was established over 60 years ago to allow members to indulge their hobby in a friendly and supportive environment, whether they are experienced photographers or complete beginners.

AIMS OF THE CLUB

The primary aim of the club is to ensure that all members enjoy photography whatever their level of experience or involvement.

The club provides a friendly and open atmosphere to help new members develop their photographic interests.

We encourage new members to participate in all aspects of the club's activites, including internal and external competitions.

A photographer happened upon a beggar on the street and decided to take her photo. Afterwards another photographer saw the beggar and felt sorry for her. He decided to give her some money. The two photographers started to talk and one said "did you feel sorry for her?" What did you give her? The other photographer said, "I gave her F11 at 1/125 of a second." -
